The gallery was founded in 1966 by Daniel Templon, who was then only 21.
The gallery first opened rue Bonaparte, in Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris, before moving in 1972 to its current location, rue Beaubourg, in the Marais, close to the Pompidou Center, which opened in 1977.
Daniel Templon first gained recognition by exhibiting conceptual and minimal artists such as Martin Barré, Christian Boltanski, Donald Judd, Joseph Kosuth, Richard Serra.
Galleri GKM
Galleri GKM was founded in 1967 by Solveig and Siwert Bergström and is today operated by the second and third generation.
The gallery represents contemporary international art, from older well-established artists to a younger generation who captures our time with a pictorial language. Among the artists you will find Arman, César, Corneille, James Coignard, Roberto Matta, Valerio Adami, Erró, Peter Klasen, Patrick Chappert-Gaujal, Yrjö Edelmann, Cecilia Cubarle, Antonio de Felipe, Clara Hallencreutz, Philippe Huart and William Sweetlove.
