A bright and colourful coffee shop with an interesting concept: here you pay by the hour rather than by what you order. Anti-café offers a range of hot drinks as well as sweet and savory snacks. It’s the ideal place for you to settle down and work. It has powerful wifi, plugs and even a printer.

Located in the Galerie Montpensier and overlooking the gardens of the Palais-Royal, you can enjoy your coffee on the small terrace or take it to go and have a stroll in the gardens.
With the best pastries: Plaza Athénée

Going to the Plaza Athénée is whole experience in itself. An elegant dress code is required, the interior decoration is stunning with its magnificent chandeliers and, of course, the pastries are almost heavenly! We recommend the menu specially created by Angelo Musa, a world champion of pastry.
You should also try: Angelina, a true parisian institution, known for its thick and creamy hot chocolate as well as its pastries.
For a change of scenery
A park : Jardin des Tuileries
Place de la Concorde, rue de Rivoli, 75058 Paris
Charming and elegant, le Jardin des Tuileries, although located in the very centre of Paris, offers a moment of peace as one strolls along its wide paths lined with trees. In the autumn the leaves transform into flamboyant reds and oranges which makes a visit all the more magical.
Another suggestion: Jardin de la Nouvelle France, just a few steps away from the Grand Palais, perfect for a quick escape from the crowds of the FIAC.
A concept store: colette
213 Rue Saint Honoré, 75001 Paris
One of the first concept-stores to open in Paris (in 1997), the store stocks a curated selection of books, gadgets, clothes and accessories and there’s even a restaurant. You’ll find unique objects and clothes by creative and original designers. The shop is unfortunately closing in December so visit while you can!
A stroll along the Seine
A walk along the Seine is a must when visiting Paris. Many of the Seine’s banks are now pedestrian and there are a range of installations all along the banks (floating gardens, outdoor gyms) as well as cafes and restaurants. And if you want to travel a little further afield why not try a Vélib?
